Please stop! I beg you. It makes it so confusing for new crafters. Shiny side down is now old and outdated. The new correct saying is carrier sheet side down! There are many brands of HTV that have frosted or matte carrier sheets. If you’re not sure what side is right peel back a small corner and find the clear sticky side and that is what goes onto the mat. #cricut #cricuttutorials #htv #shinysidedown #htvhacks #cricuthacks #cricutforbeginners #cricuttipsandtricks #cricutquicktip #quicktiptiesd

Cricut beginner guide: when to use transfer tape Remember that for HTV (heat transfer vinyl, or iron-on vinyl) you do not need transfer tape. The plastic carrier sheet is already attached and this is what you’ll use to apply it to your shirt. #cricuttutorials #cricutbeginner #cricuttips #cricutvinylexplained #howtoapplyhtv #htvtutorial #irononvinyltutorial
